Well as you know I've been doing a lot of work on the Citizens of the Imperium end of the website due to the flameout of the old forum software. I'm still not sure what the hell happened with it, maybe we just got too big for it! Yeah I'll go with that one

One thing the new forum software has allowed me to do if finally add some really cool new features to the site that I have been wanting to add for quite awhile now. There is the new Image Gallery and the Traveller Wiki (in 'beta' and available very soon), not to mention the revamped File Library and Starport areas. And you are reading this on the blogging system. There have also been some changes to your User CP allowing you to now have 'friends' and allows comments by said friends (or anyone if you allow it). Your 'friends' are anyone who you have on your Buddy List and they have you on their Buddy List. See your User CP for the links and controls.

I'm also looking at a piece of groups software to add on that I think would work really well for Play-by-Post games. Basically anyone (who is allowed) can set up a personal group that can either be open to anyone to join or you can make it invitation only. Groups have their own forums space as well.

Pretty much all of the old site features are all back up and running in conjunction with the forums. You can once again log into the eLibrary using your CotI username and passwords provided your CotI and eLibrary email address match.

The Moot is also back up and running. It is now fully integrated into the forums. If your previous subscription has expired you will need to renew your subscription before gaining access to the forums and files and to get your title back. You can subscribe to the Moot from your User CP. Click on the Paid Subscriptions links towards the bottom left of the page.

Well that's about it for now. Just really testing this thing out for the moment...

It sorts them that way automatically like these comments here.

So how do I set it so that the oldest comment is at the top, like in the main forums?

Definitely a Moot perk. They would be perfect for Play by Post, for a small private forum for your gaming group, or similar.

Just a wild idea? Maybe the "Groups" thing could be a Moot perk? Sounds marketable and low maintenance but a nice feature to me

Hmm yeah I see that. I'll have to check out the settings and see if there is anything I can do about that. Appreciate the heads up!

BTW, some of the images in the random gallery overlap onto the blog section. It isn't very far, but it bodes ill. (Specifically, "Main Corridor".)

Just testing the comments. Feel free to let me know what you think of the blog system. Hunter
