Well, my wife and I hit the local Bakers Square for Pi Day, which for the non-math inclined is March 14, 3/14. She did not get her usual French Silk, opting for the chocolate peanut butter cup. Quick tasty, by the way. After looking at all of the choices, I settled on my regular, and favorite, strawberry rhubarb. I love that strawberry rhubarb, although the rest of my family views me as very strange with that. Against they, they view me that way a lot. I keep telling them how boring it would be with a normal father and husband. My daughter has finally decided to agreed with me.
As for panic, on Yahoo is posted the story of a evil cretin who spent quite a bit of time earlier this month cleaning out as many stores as possible of hand sanitizer and wet wipes and then was selling them on Amazon and eBay for between $7 and $70 per bottle or package. Then the companies pulled his accounts for price gouging. He now has the incredible audacity to complain about it. Since he has allowed Yahoo to post his name and town, I personally think that a visit from the local emergency authrities is in order, with confiscation of his entire stash with no compensation. Tarring and feathering also comes to mind for a starter as well. I have no sympathy for this evil person whatsoever. Some people have looked up the state statutes, and determined that he could be prosecuted for price gouging in an emergency, and I do hope that the local authorities go after him and hang him nice and hang, to discourage the next evil cretin who might consider this.
