Someone needs to explain to that Swedish teenage dropout that having a fossil-fuel powered snow thrower is a literal lifesaver for someone who is 68 with a LONG driveway to clear of heavy, wet, slushy snow. They also need to explain to her that without fossil fuels, Sweden would be starving with the number of people in it, and she would very likely not have the luxury of being "Vegan". How does she think all of those fruits and vegetables she is eating get to her table? Magic? A teleportation system? Or does she even think?

How does she think that places like the island of Great Britain, Ireland, and Iceland would survive without fossil fuel powered food deliveries? For that matter, where does she think the heating and cooking for her house, when she is home, comes from? Does she think that Switzerland can survive with only the food that can be locally produced? Chop the UK food imports, and half of the population starves to death. It is quite that simple. Then you have the areas of Sweden north of the Arctic Circle. How do they survive, or does she even care? I doubt the last, or she might actually keep her uneducated mouth shut. I wonder if she bothered to think of how all of the bigwigs at Davos got there? Not by sailing ship and horse-carriage. The ridiculous thing is that the media and most of the bigwigs do not call her out on the subject.

I would love to see what would happen to New York City if all fossil fuel usage, direct and indirect from electric power plants were totally cut off for a week. No cars traveling over the bridges, no subway trains running, no food deliveries to store or restaurants, no lights for the skyline or anything else. Go ahead Greta, totally cut out your fossil fuel usage, and see how long before you starve.
