I guess I have greatly gotten behind with Daily Thoughts, as it has been two weeks since my last posting. I am not sure if I can get caught up, but I do need to post more than every two weeks.

With respect to my health, I keep alternating good days and bad days, but even that is not a given. I was at a Christmas get-together for the Sunday School class, and was doing okay, then suddenly, someone put a knife into the bottom of my left foot. That pretty much ended the evening for me, as I was out of the picture with my leg propped up while the rest of the group, including my wife, played the games. Not much I could do, and she needed some form of break from the tax office and the idiocies of corporate H&RB. When that happens, it does get a bit frustrating and discouraging, and makes me a bit shy about trying to go out and do anything. I can never be sure that I will not have some very painful problems.

I got an email from Marc saying that my shipment of the Big Black Books is on the way, but I have yet to figure out where I am going to store them. The other option is putting them on consignment to something like Games Plus in Mount Prospect, and maybe trying to sell them at GaryCon. I will just have to see how that goes. I still have not really spent any time going through the PDF file that I received. The only benefit to the books is that they might be easier to read for longer periods of time than the computer screen. I keep thinking longingly for a new set of the Little Black Books that were so easy to carry around and store.

I still need to finish my Christmas shopping, but given how my legs have been acting, that may prove to be difficult. I might just have to do a bit each day and hope that I get what I need. Daughter and son-in-law are already covered, but I need some things for my wife. I have some ideas, but I do need to get out and get them. Just have to try my best and hope that it works out.

Oddly enough, right now I am spending more time working on a book for D&D than I am anything for Traveller. Nothing terribly interesting on the Forum, either. I figure that eventually I will run afoul of the new moderator rules that have been published, and be banned for a while. I am not sure what happens to my Moot subscription at that point. My guess is that I will find out.
