No, the Grey does not refer to a less intensive Black Friday, but to the clouds and fog that have settled in for the duration. I have only ventured out once on a Black Friday, and that was quite a few years ago to get an extremely good deal on a heavy duty mixer set for my wife, which has been well used over the years. Needless to say, the store was not that crowded.

Right now, a lot of people would love to see some sun. It is amazing how much your body is tuned to the sun. I discovered that in Alaska, when during the summer, it was hard to settle down and go to bed when the sun was still up, and during the winter, how hard it was to get going in the morning when it was still dark. The afternoon was not that bad with darkness, as with Chicago being on the eastern edge of the time zone, the Sun set early here as well.

It looks like we will bet some Sun on Monday, but the weekend looks pretty bleak. I can understand my sister-in-law liking Florida at this time of year for the Sun and warmth. I could do with some sun, but the temperature is okay with me. I just cannot handle heat at all now, which is the reverse of just about everyone else. Another case of being odd man out. Such is the story of my life.
