It was a busy week, most of the busyness being trying to keep the basement dry when we get over two months worth of rain in 5 days. Add what we have had earlier in the month, and it is more like 4 months worth of rain. Yes, I looked up at the National Weather Service website what the average rainfall for my area is. I need to remember to post some ideas as to how to use the NWS website for a game.

Then my Concealed Carry Permit came through, so I can carry if need be. Right now, that will likely be to the church, which is a sad commentary on the state of our society, but such is life. You deal with the situation as it is. A friend and I are shooting on a regular basis at one of the local ranges, and it is quite enjoyable to blast away and see a nice pattern emerge on the target. I am much happier with a revolver than one of the small automatics, which does make carrying a bit of a problem. Now, I just need to decide whether I want that SKS carbine or the Rossi Circuit Judge. The Circuit Judge would be my preference, as it can handle .410 shotgun shells as well as .45 Colt ammo. Right now, though, none are showing up as available. So just have to see.

I am hoping that I can get at least one booklet done next week and out on DriveThru. I was hoping to get that done this week, but those storms coming through at the middle of the night sort of messed up my plans as well as sleep. I have more than enough for several images booklets, so just need to put them together.

Then when I think that I have heard all of the horrible stuff about abortion, there shows up the story of the former abortionist from Indiana who died last week and lived in Will County, Illinois, having a stockpile of fetal body parts to the turn of over 2,000 at his house. Since he could not legally perform abortions since 2015, when he lost his license in Indiana, where did all of these come from? He must have been seriously sick, or seriously engaged in selling body parts for whatever purpose some other sick person would use them for. Some other possibilities that have been voiced are a bit nauseating. I can only hope that he is burning in Hell right now, or maybe even something worse. Is it bad enough that the erstwhile mayor of South Bend is claiming the Bible allows abortions, which tells me how sick he is. It will be interesting to see what happens to him the next time he runs for Mayor. And regardless of his claims, based on the entire realm of Scripture, he is not a Christian. I anticipate he will experience a severe shock when he meets his Maker.
