How many of the forum has heard about the attack on Christians in Burkina Faso today? Killed by Muslims in case you care about such things. A group of armed Muslims attacked an Assembly of God church, and killed the pastor and 5 other persons, amoung them his son and brother-in-law. They were given the choice of converting to Islam on the spot or dying. They died. It looks like Fox News mentioned it, but none of the other major networks. Add in the Easter bombing attacks in Sri Lanka, and that is not a bad body count for the Muslims. Way more than the New Zealand attack.

Now, if this had been Christians killing Muslims, you would have seen ti blasted from every major news outlet in the US, along with Hollywood beings jumping on the soapboxes and blasting those horrible Christians to the skies, and the Demcrats falling all over themselves ranting about how horrible anti-Muslim sentiment is. They would be demanding penance from all of the evangelical Christian, and probably secretly hoping that the Muslims will start working harder at exterminating all of those pesky overseas Christian congregations as soon as possible. However, it is Christians being killed by Muslims, so therefore it is perfectly acceptable. You cannot get the Muslims upset you know by saying that they should not kill people who are not Muslims. Nor by telling them that kidnapping large numbers of Christian girls and turning them over to Muslim men as property is not exactly good either. Just do not post the beheading online, as that gets harder to explain away.

Friend, I do have to agree with the gist of Magnus's comments, in that the Muslims we see committing such atrocities in the name of their religion are really just as evil and sinful by the terms of their own religion (Islam) as the medieval "Christian" Crusaders sent out by Kings and Popes to wage war and commit atrocities against Muslims, Jews, and even fellow Christians in the Holy Lands. (One crusade even sacked Byzantium/Constantinople, a center of Orthodox Christianity at the time.) For a more recent example, look at the supposedly Christian-based KKK (*spit*). What makes it seem that Islam itself supports this Evil is the currently great number of extremist Islamic religious leaders (Wahabbists and others, both Sunni and Shi'ite) who command such large followings, especially such large armed groups committed to Jihad and terror. They are the most visible, but truly, they are Evil even by their own Book.

Well, since I do own and have read a huge chunk of the Quoron I'd have to say more than most of my fellow non-Muslim citizens. And thus I know much like "Christian" extremists killing people over abortion here in this nation those Muslims who kill other Muslims or Christians or Jews are committing a crime in their religion which specifically states that all three are People of the Word and this brothers and sisters to be treated as such. Saudi Arbia is indeed not a good nation and if we were really about freedom and such we'd stop be allies with them and see what we could do about removing the House of Saud from their ruling position, or the Earth I'm not particular. Bloody barbairians.

You know very little about Islam then, or its history. I do have one question for you. How many Christian churches are there in Saudi Arabia?

Extremists do not a religion nor a people make.
