I have been reading and watching this latest fiasco playing out over the past week in Chicago. Stupid does not adequately describe it, although an extremely oversized ego combined with greed might start to. Having grown up around Chicago and aside from my Army time, having been in the overall metropolitan area, the Chicago police are going to handle something like this with extreme care to make sure that they have all of their "i" dotted and "t" crossed before doing anything. That means that a certain TV star, note, I take that on outside testimony as I never heard of the show before the past week, not of this individual's existence, is toast. And Chicago and the Cook County State's Attorney are really, really mad. They are going to be looking for prison time on top of restitution for all of the time spent on the case, and if that runs into seven figures, I would not be surprised. It definitely will go well into six figures. He wanted a raise, what he is going to get is a massive legal bill, plus the restitution, and a very different payment while in prison. Actually, I suspect that if he gets prison, he is going to be isolated from the other prisoners, otherwise, he might be very shortly arguing his case before a much more lasting tribunal.

Ok, got it. Wow, people do some crazy things for money, especially in show biz where they never think they are being paid enough. Never heard of this actor or his show; suspect we'll never hear of him again once publicity of current hoax dies down, since he is being fired from this show and I can't see why anybody would ever take the risk of hiring him after this!

Hmm, I guess I am going to need to test my google- fu to figure out who you are talking about. I don't watch TV, either, except for select shows and movies on Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon Prime. I get most of my news from a service that refers me website articles according to my interests, so there is a certain pre-selection that makes me miss some things.
