Tonight is one of those nights of trying to decide how much longer to stick around. There is one individual on the site who I would not give the time of day to, and hopefully, will never encounter in person. Another just manage to trigger a whole bunch of very painful memories by not bothering to think about the player behind the player characters. Yes, the game character might be able to handle the unexpected, but the actual live human being running that character might be a totally different story. The automatic assumption that everyone is going to have the same view of things bugs me a lot. Against that, I do have a chunk of money invested, and I would like to see about selling some product eventually in the coming year. Have to see how things balance out. But the group think is really getting to me. Traveller is supposed to be a game of wide open imagination, but there are those who want to turn it into a rigid straight jacket.
