Well, Trump has finally done what should have been done a long time ago, and announced that Jerusalem is indeed Israel's capital, and the embassy will be moved there. I imagine that all of the Israel haters in the State Department are going bonkers, especially since today it looks like Trump is acknowledging that Israel will keep the Wailing Wall in any conceivable peace settlement, assuming that you can conceive of a peace settlement. They are probably saying that Israel's existence as a state is going to end as soon as the Arabs can get their acts together and exterminate the Jews. The fact that the last major move made by Israel, returning Gaza to Arab control has turned out so well is not a material thought in the vacuum that occupies the space between their ears.
As for the Arabs somehow managing to get their acts together, there is a failed state in Lebanon, a failed state in Syria, a failed state in Libya, an Egypt that is increasingly having problems with Arab Muslims in the Sinai that are quite happy to kill fellow Muslims but are not at all interested in attacking Jews, a near-failed state in Iraq, and a Saudi Arabia that is bogged down in a really nasty war in Yemen that shows no signs of ending soon, and is being conducted by the Saudis in a manner that if Israel did it, the International Outcry from the UN and the EU would be absolutely deafening. However, it is the Saudis killing people, not the Israelis, so that is perfectly fine. As for Iran, aside from not really being Arab, I confidently expect a fine crop of mushrooms to appear over certain areas in the future.
If the Arabs were really honest with themselves (a complete and utter impossibility), the only ones they have to blame for Israel controlling Jerusalem is themselves. If they had not precipitated the 1967 War, Jordan would still be in control of East Jerusalem, and the Jews would have no access to the Wailing Wall.
