This is mostly self indulgence, so bear with me. I'm six months into my transition now, three months of them living full time in my new life. Finding a lot of changes, I look different, my morning routine has gone from maybe ten minutes to at least an hour. I own a lot more shoes and clothes than I've ever owned in my life.

I'm slowly finding my feet, resuming both playing and writing for traveller. One of the changes has been to my writing style, finding a lot more focus on 'adult' topics and interpersonal relationships in my fiction (my latest instalments for Jeff probably are the clearest examples of how different, the first two written pre-transition the last two during). I'm starting on a new minor alien module and dusting off old Interstellar Wars material for JTAS online. HGS is still sadly on the back burner, mostly due to computer issues. However if you find an error, please let me know, I will fix them.

I've got a lot of new interests in life, things that never bothered me before now are important to me now. My emotions, well lets just say they are... mobile (bursting into tears watching the little mermaid, a tad embarrassing).

I look in the mirror now and I like what I see, I wonder how I kept on living before. Sometimes Andrew has to reemerge (I have a young teenager at school and no desire to expose him to the risk of the cruelty by his peers) and it's so hard to be that person again. Odd, after 51 years of being a man I now find the very idea humiliating.

I've change a lot and I have to wonder am I still the same person?
