Well, not really. I rolled up a new character and worked her out in both T5 and CT (using book 4 Mercenary). She is a former Imperial Marine (I am a former Marine), and wound up being a Commando in both iterations.

Working up Shiara in T5 has proven interesting. She's not very different, all in all, from her CT origins in many ways.
Interesting differences; she's a Knight, she's discovered a few planets and gotten credit for it, she's finally gotten a graphic image of herself, courtesy of Bradley Warnes. The avatar is take from one of these images.

Sitting here at Lysen Scout Base as maintenance is done on 'Star Dancer'. This gives me time to review the new T5 Ops Manual. Generally reading manuals is more chore than anything else but in this instance I am quite fascinated. It represents some fascinating changes in procedures of various sort and that is always good reading. I have little else to do at the moment so reading and absorption of this manual should be done right about when 'Star Dancer' is ready to go. Nice timing.
I received confirmation of shipment from Marc this morning. I expect this is the Beta & Kickstarter packet; I had to wait to order the book and extra dice from the website.

No, I haven't received one. When the Kickstarter began I had set in for the 100 plus level but unexpected circumstances forced me to drop it to the 51 level. I have finally, via the Order T5 site, managed to order the actual book...and more dice.
Anticipation is high. I have not yet received confirmation emails, although I did get one some time past where I had to submit my character name. I am quite excited by the prospect of receiving the Kickstarter materials and eventually, the Book

I have been absent for a long while, out on the fringes of explored space. Spending time at the Star's End Bar & Grill now and then. Lots of catching up to do. I am seriously looking forward to receiving my copy of T5.
