This is a bit more on my Napoleon Total War solitaire campaign as the British. I plan to put this one on hold soon and start a new solitaire; haven't decided what nation yet, maybe Russia, or I might download one of the mods that let you play as minor nations like Denmark.

Reasons for putting this one on hold are:

1) Already achieved major campaign goal of conquering Spain. I landed Wellesley on the north coast near Pamplona, took that province and marched him down intending to meet Aberc ...More Read More

Same Napoleon Total War campaign that I wrote about previously. I'm playing as the British, solitaire game against the AI.

Didn't bother writing anything down last session as nothing really interesting happened. I was mostly working on economy and finishing off the French fleet, then raiding French ports to destroy the facilities so they couldn't build any new ships.

Early March 1807

Only played one turn this evening, but it was a LONG battle. I really like the improved challenge of pl ...More Read More

Just looking for a handy spot online to keep some notes about an ongoing campaign as the British in Napoleon Total War (game tends to crash if I alt-tab out, but there is a built-in browser that lets me get to this blog).

Started this game last night, my first solitaire game as previous campaign was a multiplayer with Michael as Austria and me as Prussia. Lesson quickly learned as a wannabe naval power: I find the naval battles boring, but it is dangerous to use auto-resolve as the AI will c ...More Read More

[SBRD] Misc Bits of Setting Detail

There are bits and pieces of extra details of the setting that have developed in discussion threads and emails and PMs, and don't really have a good place to fit into the outline, but are worth keeping for reference. I'm going to try to remember to archive such bits in this blog post, to make them easier to find.

Misc Bits Added So Far
1. Money - offworld currency, debit cards, etc
2. Crew Staterooms

[SBRD] Maps of the Setting

Border Map - Reavers' Deep and Daibei Sector: 3731 AD

Here is the first area map, which I have been working for awhile on getting just right (if you are interested in the process, read this thread post). This is a border map of Reavers' Deep and Daibei Sector as they are in 3731 AD, the time setting for our campaign. These were made using the Post procedure at Travellermap.com. I'll post this in three versions, all identical except for file format:

[SBRD] Ship's Cargo, Freight, and Passengers

I just spent way too much time searching threads for what the ship had in cargo and freight, so I am making this blog page that I can keep updated (I hope) for easy reference of current cargo/freight/passenger status. Also, unless there is some length limit on blog posts that I haven't run into yet, I will just keep pushing the older notes down the page to create a log of what the ship has bought, sold, or carried from different ports.

[SBRD] UWP and other System Codes

I've been making worlds w basic LBB3 rules and UWP, except that the sector data that I downloaded from Travellermap had T5 extensions included, so I've had to consider what to do with those. I've now had the opportunity to examine the new code explanations at Travellermap, and have decided to adopt some of that stuff (particularly in Rem codes) and discard other parts.

Just so you know, here is the format I am using for extended UWP (Universal World Profile):
