It was a quiet night at church, and I had a good game of Australian Rails with my friend who wife died suddenly. We finished about nine-thirty, and then he headed home to bed. The nights are the toughest right now, and I can understand that, having been somewhat in the same situation, but with a son instead of a wife. I actually won one for a change as well, but I had the strangest rail net that I have ever built in Aussie Rails.

Working on the books, but keep finding more stuff. I think ...More Read More

I keep thinking about posting on a more regular basis, but too much is going on in the world to settle on any one thing. Between the insanity of the Democrats, who are now going to go after churches and any group that does not support same-sex marriage, which is an oxymoron if there ever was one, to gun-grabbing, to a frame-up job from the word go on this "impeachment" investigation, that is quite a lot. That and trying to get a couple of books out when I keep coming up with more stuff as I l ...More Read More

The booklets are coming along, with plenty of color images for the one booklet, so that may be 24 or 32 pages, not sure which as yet. The Second free images book with be 16 pages, and I have way more than enough for that. Both books with come with comments on the images as before, but I do not think on the color images book I will be adding animal characteristics,, as that is going to have more than just animal images in it. What I think that I will do is give the approximate weight of the ...More Read More

I have been working on the image books, but life seems to keep slipping in and diverting me. Part of it was the missions conference at my church last week, which took precedence over pretty much everything else. I was great talking with the two pastors from the Philippines, and also the ones from South Africa. I just wish that I could visit both areas, but my physical condition is such that is not possible. That is one of my greater frustrations but it is nothing new.

I do need to figure ...More Read More

Well, I finally go going on my color bestiary booklet with some additions and I sort of got into a grove. It is going to be a bit bigger than I though, and I will not be trying to plug hit points or anything like that into it. I will make sure everything has descriptions that will be more than adequate to understand what everything is. It might take a while to put it together, but it is coming along.

I still need to get another black and white freebie put together as well, as I came acros ...More Read More

I have figured out what two booklets that I am going to try to get out in the next couple of weeks on DriveThru. One will be another Freebie, with a blend of weapons, animals of various types, some vegeation, and some scenery, all black and white, and about 16 pages with about 24 to 30 images. I might go a bit longer if things are moving along well.

The other book will be mainly of animals, and some plants and plant products, but with most of the images in color. That one will not be a Fr ...More Read More

It was a busy week, most of the busyness being trying to keep the basement dry when we get over two months worth of rain in 5 days. Add what we have had earlier in the month, and it is more like 4 months worth of rain. Yes, I looked up at the National Weather Service website what the average rainfall for my area is. I need to remember to post some ideas as to how to use the NWS website for a game.

Then my Concealed Carry Permit came through, so I can carry if need be. Right now, that wil ...More Read More

Well, my Moot Subscription runs out tomorrow, and no sign of being renewed, despite sending Mr. Miller a check last Friday, which should have arrived in Bloomington on Tuesday. He might be a bit ticked about the reason for reducing the amount of the new subscription from my prior one. I guess I will have to ssee what the powers-that-be decide to do. Hopefully, Mr. Miller will has not lost the check, as he has one previously. If the subscription is not renewed, I assume that I will get the c ...More Read More

Well, I sent Mr. Miller my renewal for the Moot, and now I have to see if he will accept it and renew the Moot Subscription. There does seem to ba a lot of interest from the Guests, more than the forum members, which is one reason for renewing.

I keep debating about posting some pro-Trump comments in the Pit, just to see if they would be allowed. That probably will stir up a wasp's next, but such is life. Maybe some anti-gun control comments to add to the mix. Right now, I am debating if ...More Read More

My wife and I visited Shipshewana, Indiana earlier in the week on the way home from visitng our son in Milan, Michigan. We have been there before, but it has been a while, and I had never been to the Flea Market that is there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from May to September. If you have not been to Shipshewana, and are within about 6 hours or so driving distance, you are missing out on a slice of life that is divorced from the rush of the urban life style. I would not mind moving there, alth ...More Read More
