Hooo boy! How many players don't bother to try and get Brawling as a skill when doing chargen? (probably loads) How many end up without any weapons in a dicey situation, later? (not nearly enough) Referees, if you encounter a group without any Brawling skill, take away their weapons and see how they plan on handling themselves. Expedient weapons are one solution (sword-like things made of rebar or pipe, etc.). But, how many characters can take care of themselves when they don't have thei ...More

Well, we have been flailing away at this PbP thing for a bit now, and I have a couple of observations: 1) Because we are all later in life and can't just grab a 3-hour block on one night a week (and we're in different time zones!) the interplay is definitely different from a FtF. But, that means the actual role-playing is at a premium, it seems.
