Hooo boy! How many players don't bother to try and get Brawling as a skill when doing chargen? (probably loads) How many end up without any weapons in a dicey situation, later? (not nearly enough)

Referees, if you encounter a group without any Brawling skill, take away their weapons and see how they plan on handling themselves. Well, we have been flailing away at this PbP thing for a bit now, and I have a couple of observations:

1) Because we are all later in life and can't just grab a 3-hour block on one night a week (and we're in different time zones!) the interplay is definitely different from a FtF. But, that means the actual role-playing is at a premium, it seems. Though we've had a couple of incidents, there has been less "roll-" than "role-"playing.
