So, I'm getting more search results for India when I do searches on YouTube. Way back in 2005 is when it appears to have started. I remember searching for an actress for a movie I saw as a kid, and I got scores of Indian actresses and models.

I'm not Indian. And when I called the ATT jerk I got some Indian on the phone telling me it was my region settings.

It isn't.

I tossed my cookies and web browser data, and my region settings are for the US.

I spoke with someone in the utilit ...More Read More

If you haven't seen this film, and are interested in it, then go check out a copy. Stream it from Amazon or Netflicks, go grab the DVD and watch it, because I've got some thoughts with lots of spoilers in it.

Wow. I just got my DVD of the 1951 "War of the Worlds" feature film. Incredible movie making. If you can get buy the Martian spaceships hanging from wires in the SFX shots, seriously if you can get by that, then this film will entertain.

I have not seen this ...More Read More

There's been a real effort to separate me from gaming, science fiction, and all the things I love for some strange or odd purpose of getting me to "grow up" and possibly create some kind of romantic connection.

Well, kind of the whole point of hanging out here was to see through on Hunter's promise that I could write for Traveller, and, if that proved successful, and if I could get a writing position with a local company, or freelance write locally, then I could finally establish myself in a ...More Read More

So, my readership has all but vanished. I'm sorry that's happened. Why it's so I don't really care. Personal drama is over, and on I press.

But going over the number of views I've had on various entries, I noted that "Noble Rage" had a high number of views before the second "big drop" in readers.

It's one of my better written seeds, but the other thing that I noted is that it's more in line with traditional Traveller; i.e. the Imperium's aristocracy and nobility, the Solomani legacy, ...More Read More

So, why am I posting adventure seeds based on movies? Because I'm reserving my really good ideas for publication ... although I may post a few here anyway.

A lot of scifi is criminal or law enforcement drama, or psychiatric formulas dressed up as spaceships, aliens, post-apocalyptic worlds, and so forth. As such I may be posting some of those. Some examples;

"THX-1138" is George Lucas's famous first film which, if you look at it, is about a patient trapped in a psychiatric ward, who ha ...More Read More
